Going Home Outfit Option #2

Here is another little outfit I got for Brynn. It could also be a going home outfit, but I think it may be a bit big. But, I know it will get worn a lot! I just love gowns. I discovered those with Megan since she was born in December and she spent many of her first few weeks in gowns. They were so warm and easy to change diapers, etc.

Of course, I had to make a matching bow!
Yesterday, as I pulled up my weekly pregnancy update, I realized it is the update I looked forward to with each pregnancy. It said Congratulations, you have entered your third trimester. It made it feel so close (even though people still say, oooooooh, bless you heart, you still have a long way to go). But, more importantly, it also said babies born now have a good prognosis and and excellent chance of survival. Now I know babies are born earlier than 28 weeks and do fine and babies born after 28 weeks can have problems. But, there is something about reading that sentence (good prognosis and excellent chance of survival) that brings a calmness to me. I do not worry about every pain, wierd feeling, belly tightening, etc.
I'm so thankful to be at this point and looking forward to what is to come!!!

Preschool Time

Megan starts Preschool in a couple of weeks and Wednesday we got to go to her Open House. She is going to preschool at our church so she was excited and ready to see what this was all about. When it was over she said she was ready to go back to that class.

She and I on the morning before we left!
Megan is also having some revelations about being a big sister. We were driving around the other day, going to Target I'm sure, and out of nowhere she said, "mom, when Laci is at school all day, I have to take care of BAby Brynn in the car while you are driving." Then, when we were walking around Target she said, again out of nowhere, "wehn Baby Brynn gets here, she has to ride in the buggy and I get to walk!" followed by, "I like being a big sister."Hope she feels the same come November!!!

WOW!

Thanks so much for all the sweet comments about Brynn's room! I am having a blast working on all 3 girl's rooms. I love the comments about it being so girly. After have 2 girls you would think I would be "girled" out, but really that it is not the case. When I was pregnant with Laci I remember trying to be so "smart." Buying things that would be considered gender neutral, then adding pink where I could. I used most of that same stuff with Megan, tweeking a few things. Then, when we found out we were pregnant with Brynn I decided from early on I was going either all Boy or all Girl 110%!!!! Obviously we are ALL GIRL!! And, I am loving going "girl" nuts in her her room...and closet. I sold all of Laci and Megan's cloths at DuckDuckGoose, so I am getting to start over there too! Very fun!

Finally, an answer to some questions I have received:

I bought the bedding off of Ebay. I was going to have someone make it, but when I saw that bedding and the fact that it matched my valance already in the room, not to mention the great price, I just had to get it. Even my husband agreed!

Furniture was off of Craigslist at an incredible price. I painted the bed and Lindsey at Personal Pizazz painted the chest.

Yes, this is our last child!! People keep asking if we are planning on going for a 4th and the answer is a firm no. We feel very blessed as we prepare to become a family of 5 and I have a great peace knowing Brynn will complete our family!

Lastly, I have had a couple people ask about Laci and Megan's rooms. I will post pics of their rooms soon. Their rooms do not stay as clean as Baby Brynn's! :)

Baby Brynn's Room

Here is a quick update (with lots of pics) on Baby Brynn's room. It is coming along and I am having a blast making things to and getting it ready to go!

Here is a bow holder I made.
I left the frame empty and I will put a picture in it from her birthday when that day comes!
Her room coming together.
Her zebra and pink diaper bag!
I love this blanket and I love seeing her name!!!

I made these frames for above her bed. The ribbon is the same fabric as her rocker that will come in sometime in September!!!
And, I've gone a little crazy with the flower bows! Even if she doesn't wear them all, they make a cute decoration!
And, lastly, one of her going home outfit options! This is one of Megan's gowns that she wore and I put Brynn's name on it and a flower on the hat to personalize it just for Baby Brynn!

1st Grader....

Well, we officially have a first grader!!! Laci did great on her first 2 days of school and loves her class and her teacher. I walked in with her on the first day and Brad dropped her off the second. She thinks she is a pro!!!

Showered and ready to go the night before...she loves her head towel wrap! She thinks she is such a big girl!

First day of First Grade!!!!!

She's not saying she's number one. I had her hold up 1 finger to represent first grade and hopefully I can remember to do it every year!
Love you, Laci!! Hope you have a great First Grade Year!!

Remember this...

The white dresser I bought cheap off of Craigslist???
Well.....

Look what it has become...

How cute is this???? My friend, Lindsey over at Personal Pizazz painted it to match the bedding and it could not be more perfect. I did not expect it to be this elaborate and detailed. Thank you so much, Lindsey!!!!!
I am getting closer to finishing the room so I will post pictures soon!

Just My Girls and Me

Since school starts this week and last week we were kind of in and out with Papaw and his visitation, I have been trying to do some fun things with the girls. (feeling a little guilty, I guess) It has been so hot I can hardly go outside. Even swimming is tough on me. So, I have kind of felt bad that I haven't played outside like I usually do and I tend to lay down more than before. Megan even said the other day she was ready for my belly to go away so I could jump on the trampoline. I am trying to do some things around the house, read, and Brad is taking them to play golf early in the morning or in the evening. But, last week we did venture to Little Rock for some ice cream. (after a visit to the maternity store)

We went to Maggie Moos. They got to pick their own ice cream and we were the only ones in there so they could talk and laugh without worrying about disturbing others. There was also a fountain they through money in. They carried their own purses with their own change and I realized I needed to teach them that we don't throw the big coins...haha!
Megan thought is was soooo funny that her mouth turned blue from her cotton candy ice cream!
Then, one night I decided to let them help me make bows. I have a lot of stuff left over from making tutus and things so I thought I would see what we could come up with. I was so impressed with their help! I took the photos with my phone so they are bad quality, but we had a ball!
We put this flower on a hat for Baby Brynn that matches an outfit for her to wear as a newborn!

Pink/Black and Orange/Black - Both Megan's that I helped her with.
Three of Laci's. Orange/blue, pink/blue, and red/green
This is the one Laci did all her own. I tried to direct them on colors because some were pretty random, but I thought she did a good job on this one. pink/purple
And, finally, my creation. I have been obsessed with these tiny bows on tiny headbands. I ordered some off of Etsy and quickly realized there was nothing to it. So, this is what I have been working on. Megan wanted to wear it so I let her wear it for the day, but I thought it was so cute and I am having so much fun playing with them!

25 Weeks - The Stroller/Car Seat

I am now 25 weeks pregnant. (Starting my 26th week, is the way I like to think about it!) I enjoy the time from now until the end because things start coming together. I have the Car seat and Stroller combo ready to go. My mom and dad got it for me and I am sooo excited about it! It is awesome and I can't wait to stroll little Brynn around in it! Laci and Megan really can't wait! Here are a few pictures!

This is the stroller with the carseat on it.
But, it also comes with this piece that can be put on the stroller as well!!!
...just like this!!! So, Baby Brynn can ride around the mall, park, ballgame or wherever we are laying down and sleeping which Laci and Megan loved to do way more than sitting in the carseat! And, I can leave the carseat in the car buckled in! Also, the handle on the stroller can go straight up for for tall people (Brad), and go straight down for little ones (Laci and Megan), or right in the middle for me! The girls like to think it's just for them!
up close of the the car seat
I have the bed pretty much ready with the bedding in it. (Just waiting on a pillow to take pictures) The changing table is in the room, just need to get changing pad covers. And, I should get the dresser this weekend! Glider/Ottoman come in in September. Then, I'll decorate the walls and we'll be pretty close to ready to go! That way I can spend October (the end of Oct.) decorating for Thanksgiving/Christmas!

Tough Few Days

This past Friday my Dad's Dad, (and my papaw) Papaw Grant went home to be with the Lord. It seems unreal to be saying that and even more unreal to think of him not being at the farm. We were blessed to all be by his side as he took his last breath. I just wanted to share a few pictures.

Papaw and Mamaw at one of Wes's ballgames in Shreveport.

Papaw and Megan went to the dugout to give Wes some pointers.

After the game...

Papaw where he loved it the most, the farm...

Megan sitting in Papaw's lap this past Christmas. Meg's not dumb. She saw where all the presents went (Papaw's pile) and that is where she wanted to sit!!

Here is a picture I took from my phone. It is the afternoon of his visitation. Selph Hall was set-up for visitation with 3 tables full of pictures, memories, his hats, his Service Flag, his pipe/tobacco and lighter and a slideshow playing with Papaw's music playing in the background. As I left Selph Hall that afternoon to get ready for the visitation I told Dad is was hard to sum a life as full as Papaw's on 3 tables.
He will be greatly missed.

We have a name...

After much debate and bad ideas, we have decided on a name for our baby girl!!!

Our 3rd blessing:

Brynn Bradley
We have always liked Brynn and we wanted this child to have the initials BB. The middle name was an issue. So, we let the girls decide. We came up with lots of names to go with Brynn and in the end they both said Brynn Bradley and that is it!! So, that is her name!
She is moving so much more and I am so thankful! I go this week for my 6 month appointment and glucose test! I would be stressing having to drink that stuff but I am stressing stepping on the scale more!! Looking forward to hearing her heartbeat and hearing all is ok. I ordered her glider yesterday, her bedding is in, her bed is done, I have a changing table and lots of cloths and hairbows! I have become and Etsy freak! That is one awesome website!
Can't wait to meet Baby Brynn!
