Razorback Weekend

This past weekend we went to Fayetteville and had a wonderful weekend playing, shopping and going to the Razorback game. (pictures out of order)
Laci has been to a couple of games, but this was Megan's first game and to say she had a good time would be an understatement!
Before we left Sunday afternoon, we took a trip to campus to find our names in the sidewalk. Thankfully, our names were close to each other and close to a parking lot!
See, I did graduate!!!
Although blurry, this is one of my favorite pics. As we were leaving the game Brad stopped the girls in front of the fraternity houses and explained to them what they were and that they were not allowed to go in them...ever! I couldn't stop laughing and neither could Brad. I love the girls standing there because it shows their personality. Laci looks as if she is saying, "yes, sir." And, Meg has her hands on her hips as if to say, "can't wait to see what that is all about."
Megan found a Hog hat and wanted everyone to try it on!
Laci had a blast lounging back and reading!!
Megan, honestly spent a lot of her time right here watching every single thing that went on and asking lots of questions. Probably the hardest thing to explain was that she couldn't go on the field to see Carly (a former Benton cheerleader). Last year she saw her at Pep Rallys and games and could talk to her wherever she wanted. All of a sudden, she was untouchable! But, Megan enjoyed watching her either way and got to give her a hug before the game!
It also didn't take Meg long to get into the swing of tailgating. We stopped by to see some of friends from Springdale and Megan found her a chair and before long had her a plate full of food!
A Family Picture....that is so rare!
We really had a good time and the weather is awesome! So glad it's cooler and looking forward to fall!!!!
Quick Brynn Update: had our 4D ultrasounds last Thursday before we left and everything looked great! She weighs about 3lbs. 9 oz. right now and has a chubby little face with big lips. Can't wait to meet her and see if she can hold her own with Laci and Megan!

What a Weekend!!

Brad and Laci have both described this past weekend as one of the best weekends of their lives. They had a daddy/daughter weekend and from all the stories I am a little jealous I was not a part of it!! They went to Northwest Arkansas to watch the LPGA event and then Saturday Brad surprised Laci by stopping at the Razorback game on their way back in town. But, clearly, the tournament was the highlight of the weekend.
Laci has showed quite a bit of interest in golf and this weekend that interest quadroupled!! Here are some pictures to tell the story!

Ready to go!!!!
Dressed like one of the golfers...or so I thought. Apparently, skirts/skorts are in now!!
Brad took these pictures with his phone that does not zoom so you can see how close they were to the girls. Here is Michelle Wie teeing off.
And, Natalie Gulbis, Brad was especially happy to see her!
They got to play indoor putt-putt

For some reason, many of the players, reporters, workers and caddy's took a liking to Laci and made it a weekend to remember. Several of the players autographed their ball and gave it to her. She got to walk down the cart path with Michelle Wie.
Natalie Gulbis signed her hat. That is who she wants to be for Halloween!
She got to stand inside the rope while Natalie was teeing off and that was huge as she was the only girl on that hole allowed to do that!!

There was also a reporter that caught Brad talking to Laci and come over and ended up doing an interview with Laci. This was on the front page of the paper the next morning. I know it is hard to see but the sub-heading says, "Six-year-old girl inspired to become professional golfer." That six-year-old was Laci!!!! There is a quote from her and under that and the first part of the article is about her and Brad at the event! How Awesome!!!!!
When it was all said and done she ended up with 3 free bags full of free stuff, 4 autographed golf balls, 1 autographed picture, an autographed hat, an article in the newspaper and an experience she will never forget!

But, it wasn't over yet. They had to get down the hill to get to the Razorback game in Little Rock.
At one point Laci did say, "mom, I wish you were here, but, you're too big to do all this walking." Sadly, she's probably right!

Laci was her own photographer! She did pretty good!

I loved hearing the excitement in her voice as she told me all of her stories and I'm so thankful they had such an amazing weekend!!!! And, the best part to me.....Brad gets to do it 2 more times!!!! He loves his girls!!!!!

Preschool Time

Yesterday was Megan's first day of 3 year old preschool. She was ready to go.

Alright, enough pictures, let's go!
She did great and said she loved it. I am so glad.
One funny story!!! When she got in the car I asked her how she did and she said, "I didn't call any of my new friends a dork." Can you tell we had that conversation before she went in that morning??

Just a few pics...

Been a busy few weeks! Laci is playing fall softball. It just a few Saturdays so it is not too much.

Ready to Run
And, if you hadn't heard....football season has started! Yesterday was the Salt Bowl and first pep rally. Laci had to go to school, but Megan got to go to the pep rally.
Before School, who is this sassy at 715 in the morning?
She had to show me a cheerleader pose!

Megan and I were off to the Pep Rally! I could hardly get a good picture of Megan because she was too busy watching! I have lots of pics of the side of her head. She was making sure the mascots didn't come up to where she was.

It is a cool Saturday morning, College Gameday is starting and I am ready to relax!!
