Megan's Turn

Megan has started gymnastics again. She took the summer off, and has now started what I like to call a big girl class. That means it is not a mommy and me class. She does it like a big girl with her friends. I sit and watch!! She is doing great and I think does better without me! Here are a few pics!!

Her daddy showed up for the class and as you can tell she was very excited!

Loud and Proud

Last Tuesday Laci got to go to the Panther Cheer Clinic. That meant she got to perform Friday night before the game, on the field. I was so proud of her. Once we convinced her that the mascots were not going to come near her, she went out there and did great! They learned a cheer, chant and dance. Of course, she didn't remember everything, but I told her to smile the whole time and she did!!!! Way to go, Laci!!!!

Of course she did not miss the part where you were supposed to shake it!!

Sparkle Fingers...I'm so proud!

Update on Becoming and Aunt!!!

Most of you that read my blog probably read my sister's as well! So, you know most of these details! But, I can't hold my excitement about becoming and Aunt, so I have to share here as well!!!

First of all, my neice or nephew is 16 weeks gestation! He or she is doing great and so is my sister!! We find out October 20th if it is a girl or boy!! I totally think it is a boy. (I already have several things stashed in my closet for a boy!! I am having a blast working on his or her nursery and can't wait to add pink or blue!!!!

I have decided on a name...for me, that is! Most little kids end up calling me ammer or bamber and those names are not fun! So, after little thought and not many good ideas I have decided on...
Auntie Am!!!!
You know, like in The Wizard of Oz! I can honestly say I am counting down the days to meet this little person!! Everyone in the fam has had the opportunity to spoil my girls. Give them things they shouldn't and give them back to Brad and me. Well, now it's my turn!! Here are some of my first duties as Auntie Am...
1. When he or she is old enough, I will bring him or her a Sonic Coke at 8:00 pm!!
2. I will carry around the real Bubble Gum with tons of sugar and make sure he or she has a piece at all times!!!
3. I will wait until he or she is perfectly dressed and give him or her as many popsicles as they want!
4. As soon as he or she acts up in public I will make a scene and make sure everyone knows...."it's my sister's kid!!!"
5. Love this little baby like crazy!!!!!

Bring on the Pumpkins and Mums!!!

Now that Laci is in school I want to make sure Megan and I get to do some of the same things Laci and I used to do just the two of us! One of those things was getting our Fall stuff out, decorating the porch and deck and planting our Fall flowers. So, this morning (since it finally wasn't raining) we went to the local flower place and to Lowe's!!! Megan, just like Laci used to, just played in the dirt while I did the work. But, that is okay with me! Here are some pictures of our finished products!

We have double doors going out to the back porch. So, this is what we decided to sit in front of the door that stays locked! I love the 2 little girls (representing Meg and Laci) and the middle pumpkin is a golf ball that lights up!

The "sitting area" on our deck!

This is one of my favorite spots. This is what you see when you look out our kitchen window. I hope to have a really cool bench or wooden deck box to put between these at some point!

When you walk out the back door this is what you see sitting against the back of the deck! The big pumpkin is the one we will eventually carve! Megan got to pick out the pumpkins. Laci used to do that!

The front porch!!! Brad told me I put too much stuff up there and I probably did, but we like it so we leave it!!

I made a little spot where it would be easy to take pictures!

The front of the house! It looks like Megan is in a "Where's Waldo" picture!
The pink flowers at the bottom of the stairs (Mandevilla) are left over from the summer. But, lately they have grown like crazy so I am going to let them grow!

Again, the two little girls hanging on the door!

Salt Bowl

We had a lot of fun last night!! We tailgated at the Salt Bowl and tried to make sure everyone there knew who Brad Bohannan was!!! The rain held off and the night was great!!!!! I thought it was a great success and I could not be more proud of Brad and more thankful for all of the friends that helped out!!!!

Campaigning - Laci and Brad

Everyone, including us, were giving away things and Laci and Meg were in line for everything!!!
Football Glasses

Stickers and Blow thingys

Cotton Candy with Bailey

Auntie Sarah also got in on the action scoring this outstanding football hat!

Megan ready to take swirly straw and whatever else they would give her!

Laci hiding from one of the mascots.

There was also lots of food! And, as long as we had food, we didn't have to worry about Megan running away! She sat behing Sarah's chair for a long time and ate and watched people!

It was such a fun night!!! Thanks to all who helped out. There are more pictures on the the Campaign Blog (you can click on it on the top right of this blog)!

Cowgirl Party

Last weekend the girls got to go to a Cowgirl Birthday Party. They had a blast!! I never imagined how much they would love to ride horses, especially Megan. Laci won the game where they had to lasso (a rope taped in a circle) a fake cow's head on a bail of hay! (not sure how to spell bail there) Anyway, it was a lot of fun and a good excuse for them to wear their cowgirl gear! Here are some pics!

They went on a hayride and threw rocks in the water!
